USG offers a core employee benefit package consisting of healthcare, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits, as well as retirement plan options for all regular employees who work 30 hours per week or more on a regular basis. All USG employees are covered by workers' compensation, and certain employees also qualify for Social Security participation.       The  Business Services division of Fiscal Affairs is recruiting for a qualified Student Assistant to provide basic administrative support in the daily office functions. Duties will include handling confidential matters with discretion, performing specific departmental projects to include preparing payroll request documents, mail distribution, and filing.

      The University System Office is now accepting applications for a Reference Assistant for the State Archives. This position is responsible for performing clerical and customer service duties related to the operations of the Original Document Reading Area in Reference. Position will greet public, pull records from vault, set patrons up with records, move tables and chairs for events, make copies/scans, related duties as assigned.

The position maintains and manages storage and backup systems including SAN, block storage, file sharing systems, purpose built backup devices as well as enterprise level backup management systems.

This position architects, installs and configures new storage solutions, maintains cloud storage environments, manages virtual data center environments, and performs a variety of other systems administration duties.

This is an entry level professional position responsible for assisting with assigned communications functions.  The position performs technical writing in support of the development and maintenance of documentation related to business processes, procedures and practices. This position works with internal departments and institutions to analyze business processes and develop standards to document. This position prepares electronic, printed, and web communications.

      The USG System Office's Information Technology Services (ITS) is accepting applications for a Technology Strategist, Senior. This professional position is responsible for developing and implementing information technology strategies for the higher education system. This position diagnoses problems with existing information technology services and develops solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This position researches and identifies new technologies and closely works with department(s) on information technology deployments. The position responds and coordinates responses during critical service interruptions for constituent institutions. This position generally possesses authority to coordinate work of the "Technology Strategist" position and instruct the Technology Strategist" position in specific techniques or technical methods for accomplishing work assignments for projects. This position may serve as project leader on special projects.

      The University System of Georgia Well-being department would like to invite a student to learn about building successful cultures of well-being in an internship. This unpaid internship would work directly under the System Benefits Wellness Program Manager.

      This objectives of this internship would be to learn how to coordinateWell-being programs to include:

      • Designing innovative, evidence-based programs
      • Assisting with program administration
      • Conducting primary research to inform of programs and initiatives
      • Developing evaluation tools

      The University System of Georgia Well-being department welcomes any prospective students that match the aforementioned qualifications. The department will engage each student within two weeks of a submission to indicate next steps in the internship process. The eligible student will receive a course credit for towards their degree program.
